Tim Holloway, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Jacksonville Veterinarian Dr. Holloway

Dr. Holloway & The Southside Animal Clinic Team

“I am a 2007 graduate of University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Veterinary School I received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida with a Dual Major, Animal Sciences with Animal Biology Specialization and Microbiology and Cell Sciences. I also had a Minor in Chemistry.

Following graduation, I practiced in a busy Small Animal General Practice in Ocala, FL for 18 months then moved on to Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in Ocala, Gainesville, Daytona, St. Augustine and Jacksonville. During my time in the Emergency Medicine setting I have obtained a wide array of experiences from Critical Care Medicine and a wide range of surgical procedures. With that being said I have a special interest in Critical Care Medicine and Surgery (Orthopedic and Soft Tissue).

I am an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. I am the current President of the Jacksonville Medical Society.

During my “free time” I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, Stephanie (who is also a veterinarian), my beautiful daughter Kymber (Born July 11, 2011), and my menagerie of pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 horses, and 6 tortoises). I also enjoy mechanics and restoring antique vehicles, especially jeeps; fishing and spending time outdoors.

I truly look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) in the very near future!!!”

Veterinary Assistants/Technicians

“My name is Kelly and I have recently taken the opportunity to switch positions from Receptionist to Veterinary Assistant/Technician. Since July 2009 I have enjoyed my position as receptionist. I now look forward to building my knowledge base and career as a Technician. I love assisting our clients with both their and their pets’ needs as well as our doctor’s to ensure each patient receives the best possible care.

I love going home to my son, Ethan, and my English Bulldog, Meaty. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. During my time off I enjoy swimming, playing softball and grilling. Also, during the Minor League Baseball season I work with the Jacksonville Suns during home games.”

“My name is Roseanna and I’ve been a Receptionist at Southside Animal Clinic since 2008. Prior to this I was employed as a supervisor at a customer service center with AT&T. My goal is to provide the very best service to all who come to our clinic, recognizing and appreciating the wonderfully diverse and interesting people we meet every day. I am the proud owner of two silver tabbies, Leo and Lily. I adopted them after I fostered for Jacksonville Humane Society 6 years ago. Leo loves to play fetch and Lily goes ballistic over the red L.E.D. dot light. I’ve volunteered for the Wolfson Children’s Hospital auxiliary for the past 11 years and donate blood regularly to the FL/GA Blood Bank, having just passed the 12 gallon mark. I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, and going to garage/estate sales.”
